    2. Fake Credentials: Some agencies, in order to make money, hire cleaning ladies and pass them off as nannies, even forging resumes and certificates!

    3. Questionable Quality: Some helpers have bad attitudes, low qualifications, and even criminal records! They're nice when you pay, but their attitude changes completely afterward! Getting a refund? Forget it!

    2 价格透明：一定问清楚价格，别让隐形消费偷走你的好心情！面试前搞清楚所有费用，别被中介忽悠。

    3 认真看合同：签合同时要仔细看，所有约定都要写清楚。退费条件也要看好，免得阿姨跑路或换人不及时。

    4 体检和保险：所有阿姨上门前必须有体检报告，避免传染病。最好在海外家政公司提供阿姨报告后，再亲自带阿姨去做一次体检，约定好如果体检有问题，费用由公司或阿姨承担。

    How to avoid these pitfalls?

    1. **Check the company's background:** When choosing a domestic service company in San Francisco, check if it's legitimate and has a business license. Stay away from unlicensed "shady businesses."  Only companies with overwhelmingly positive reviews are truly reliable!

    2. **Transparent pricing:**  Always clarify the price. Don't let hidden costs spoil your mood! Understand all fees before the interview and don't be misled by the agency.

    3. **Carefully review the contract:** Read the contract carefully before signing. All agreements should be clearly written. Also, check the refund conditions to avoid problems if the caregiver leaves or a replacement isn't provided promptly.

    4. **Medical examination and insurance:** All caregivers must have a medical examination report before starting work to prevent infectious diseases. Ideally, after the overseas domestic service company provides the caregiver's report, you should personally take the caregiver for another medical examination.  Agree in advance that if there are any health issues, the costs will be borne by the company or the caregiver.
