    Native Americans don't practice postpartum care, so where do American maternity centers come from? Believe it or not, there are quite a few maternity centers in the US now, and they're scattered throughout various Chinese communities. You've probably guessed it by now, right? That's right! The main clientele of American maternity centers is Chinese women who need postpartum care, as well as pregnant women who travel to the US to give birth.

    月子中心在短短几年间迅速发展,美国的经济发达地区,月子中心已经近百家,在行业发展的带动之下,许多大城市,比如纽约、洛杉矶、旧金山、新泽西、西雅图、休斯顿等地区,月子中心行业也开始火爆起来。

    美国的月子中心这么多,肯定是既有正规的也有不正规的,要怎么去判断一家月子中心是否正规呢?

    The maternity center industry has developed rapidly in just a few years. In economically developed areas of the United States, there are now nearly a hundred maternity centers. Driven by this industry growth, many major cities, such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Jersey, Seattle, and Houston, have also seen a surge in maternity center businesses.

    With so many maternity centers in the US, there are bound to be both legitimate and illegitimate ones. How can one determine whether a maternity center is legitimate?

    首先一定是有合法的经营资质,国内也好美国也罢,他该有的经营资质必须要有;

    其次一定要签署正规的合同,正常的合同签署,肯定就是在国内签一次就行了,而且合同一定是非常的完善,包括怎么支付费用、具体的服务明细等等,签字盖章,有法律效应才更加有保障;

    First, it must have a valid business license, whether it's in China or the US; it must possess the necessary licenses.

    Second, a formal contract must be signed. A standard contract should only be signed once in China, and it must be very comprehensive, including payment details, specific service details, etc. A signed and stamped contract provides legal protection and greater assurance.

    月子中心的合同一般是在生产前几个月,甚至是确认怀孕后不久就签订了的(签订太晚也许你最喜欢的房型、楼层或朝向就没有了),这几个月的时间里,月子中心可能会有变化,你自己情况可能会有变化。这些风险需要在合同里被充分考量到。

    另外就是费用的支付,正规的美国月子中心,不可能一来就让你交大头,一般都是按比例付款,如果可以,支持月付的美国月子中心更值得选择!

    一定是有正规的美国月子中心,但是怎么才能选择到正规的美国月子中心,这才是妈妈们应该考虑的问题!

    Maternity center contracts are typically signed several months before delivery, or even shortly after confirming pregnancy (signing too late might mean your favorite room type, floor, or orientation won't be available). During these months, the maternity center may change, and your own situation may change. These risks need to be fully considered in the contract.

    Another important aspect is payment. Reputable US maternity centers won't ask for a large upfront payment; they usually offer pro-rata payments. If possible, maternity centers that support monthly payments are a better choice!

    While there are certainly reputable US maternity centers, the real question for mothers is how to choose one!
