在洛杉矶做住家育儿嫂的第一周，我已经完全适应了。工作其实很轻松，雇主夫妇非常善良和温暖。每天下午四点，我开始为从幼儿园回来的宝宝准备晚餐，六点前做好他们夫妻俩的晚饭。晚饭后，我会收拾厨房，然后陪宝宝出去散步，大约八点回家。

During my first week as a live-in nanny in Los Angeles, I settled in completely. The work is actually quite easy, and the couple I work for is incredibly kind and warm. Every afternoon at 4:00, I begin preparing dinner for the baby, who has just returned from preschool; by 6:00, I have their dinner ready as well. After dinner, I tidy up the kitchen, then take the baby out for a walk, returning home around 8:00.

接着给宝宝洗澡，温好奶，让他一个人在房间里待着。如果没有家务，我一般在九点后回到自己的房间，做一些自己喜欢的事情，比如回复信息、做短视频，通常在11点后睡觉。

Next, I bathe the baby, warm up his milk, and leave him alone in the room. Unless there are household chores to attend to, I usually retreat to my own room after 9:00 PM to do things I enjoy—such as replying to messages or creating short videos—and typically go to sleep after 11:00 PM.

早上稍微辛苦一点，六点就要起床，通过监控看到小宝醒了，就要给他喂奶。吃完后，我会给他洗漱，然后陪他玩到八点半。有时候还需要给他们夫妻俩做点早饭。这就是我目前的住家工作。

The mornings are a bit demanding, as I have to get up at 6:00 AM. As soon as I see on the monitor that the baby has woken up, I need to feed him. After he finishes eating, I wash him up and then play with him until 8:30. Sometimes, I also need to prepare breakfast for the couple. This constitutes my current live-in job.

适应后，我白天去了社区的学校，询问了英文班的情况。可惜的是，免费的英文课是按季度学习的，最早的一期要到明年1月开学。所以，我之前想白天学英文的计划泡汤了。于是，白天我会去骑行，欣赏洛杉矶尔湾的美景，在这个过程中安静自己的内心。

Once I had settled in, I visited the local community school during the day to inquire about their English classes. Unfortunately, the free English courses are structured on a quarterly basis, and the earliest session doesn't start until next January. Consequently, my original plan to study English during the day fell through. Instead, I now spend my days cycling, taking in the scenic beauty of Irvine, Los Angeles, and finding a sense of inner peace in the process.
