• 目前洛杉矶市场上月嫂公司大部分都在包装某个月嫂,把月嫂打造成“金牌月嫂”、“高级月嫂”等等,这都是月嫂公司的噱头。

    先说下美国华人月嫂的评级只有一个证书三个等级,母婴护理的资格证书《育婴师》初级、中级、高级。

    好月嫂为什么不愿意跟着月嫂公司做?有以下原因:

    1.月嫂公司一般会收取月嫂管理费用5%到20%的管理费用,举例客户付费1万美元,公司收取2千管理费用,月嫂到手8千。这就是月嫂公司的利润点,月嫂能接到私单的,都不会跟着月嫂公司做,能省掉20%的管理费用。

    2.月嫂接私单的途径:好月嫂基本上都做两三年以上,经验和技能都比较好。亲戚朋友都知道她在做月嫂,亲戚朋友会给她介绍客户;月嫂服务过的客户会给月嫂介绍新客户;月嫂同行也会因档期不合适推荐给身边的月嫂;当然还有一部分医院的护士、护士长给月嫂介绍客户:

    3.月嫂感觉月嫂公司只给月嫂提供了一个客户,服务还是月嫂来做,月嫂感觉很委屈 。

    Currently, most postpartum care agencies in the Los Angeles market are promoting individual caregivers, branding them as "gold-medal postpartum caregivers," "senior postpartum caregivers," etc.  These are all marketing gimmicks used by the agencies.

    First, let's talk about the rating system for Chinese postpartum caregivers in the US. There is only one certificate with three levels: the Infant Caregiver qualification certificate, with beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

    Why are good postpartum caregivers unwilling to work with postpartum care agencies? Here are the reasons:

    1. Postpartum care agencies typically charge a management fee of 5% to 20% of the caregiver's earnings. For example, if a client pays $10,000, the agency takes $2,000 in management fees, leaving the caregiver with $8,000. This is the agencies' profit margin. Caregivers who can get private clients won't work through agencies, saving themselves the 20% management fee.

    2. How do caregivers get private clients? Good caregivers usually have two to three years or more of experience and excellent skills. Relatives and friends know they are postpartum caregivers and refer clients to them; satisfied clients also refer new clients; and fellow caregivers recommend each other when their schedules don't match.  Of course, some nurses and head nurses in hospitals also refer clients to caregivers.

    3. Caregivers feel that the agencies only provide them with a client, while the caregiver does all the work. This makes them feel unfairly treated.

    4.能接到私单的月嫂不会跟着月嫂公司来做,这就导致月嫂公司的好月嫂越来越少。

    5.月嫂公司好月嫂越来越少,只能拿接不到私单的新月嫂顶单,导致客户找到一个好月嫂就像中大奖一样难。

    6.月嫂公司由于没有好的月嫂服务,口碑就会越来越差,好月嫂也就会跟口碑差的月嫂公司撇开关系,担心负面影响影响到月嫂本人。

    7.只有在月嫂档期青黄不接的时候,洛杉矶月嫂才会到A月嫂公司、B月嫂公司、C月嫂公司等等或者微信月嫂群里发布空档期,让他人给他推荐客户。

    8.有些月嫂公司也是比较尴尬,有时候客户多的做不完,有时候没有客户给月嫂做,又不能给闲置的月嫂开工资(养不起闲置人员)。

    9.有些月嫂公司仅仅起到一个信息传达对接的作用,不会为月嫂承担任何风险责任。不会为月嫂买保险,不会向着月嫂说话。

    10.更有甚者个别月嫂公司根本就不懂母婴护理行业,外行人指挥内行人(瞎指挥、乱建议)

    11.跟着月嫂公司做没有职业晋升空间,月嫂年龄普遍在25岁到55岁左右,目前70后80后居多。月嫂在月嫂公司眼里只是谋利的工具,没有为做月嫂职业规划。

    4. Nannies who can get private clients won't work through nanny agencies, leading to a decreasing number of good nannies at these agencies.

    5. With fewer good nannies at agencies, they have to use inexperienced nannies who can't get private clients, making it incredibly difficult for clients to find a good nanny.

    6. Due to the lack of quality nanny services, nanny agencies' reputations suffer, and good nannies distance themselves from agencies with poor reputations, fearing negative impacts on their own careers.

    7. Only when nannies have gaps in their schedules do Los Angeles nannies post their availability on various nanny agencies' websites (A, B, C, etc.) or WeChat nanny groups, hoping others will recommend clients to them.

    8. Some nanny agencies are in an awkward position; sometimes they have too many clients, and sometimes they have no clients for their nannies, and they can't afford to pay idle nannies (they can't afford to support unemployed staff).

    9. Some nanny agencies merely act as information intermediaries, not assuming any risk or responsibility for the nannies. They don't provide insurance for the nannies or advocate for them.

    10. Even worse, some nanny agencies don't understand the maternal and infant care industry at all, with outsiders directing insiders (giving bad advice and making poor decisions).

    11. Working through nanny agencies offers no career advancement opportunities. Nannies are generally between 25 and 55 years old, with most currently being from the 1970s and 1980s generations. Nannies are merely tools for profit in the eyes of nanny agencies, with no career development plans provided for them.
